Aaaand that’s why he’s a student.

I realize that learning to do something requires you to do that thing, but it’s still amazing that you can have technical amateurs doing things like flying planes and driving cars. Sure, *you* might be “still learning,” but there are other people out here whose lives you’re putting at risk!

Thankfully, most of the time, the actual danger of this is pretty low — unless a student pilot gets a little too confident and accidentally crashes his plane into a hanger.
